Service Description

A pre-assessment consultation will be conducted to determine if you are a candidate for the medication. Once approved, instructions will be given for taking it before and after the session. Kambo is the secretion collected from the Amazonian frog, Phyllomedusa bicolor, which lives in the jungles of South America. It detoxifies the body and offers a natural way to empower and stimulate the immune system; it contains strong anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, and antiparasitic properties. The administration of Kambo results in a complex of symptoms that are not caused by an allergic reaction of the immune system, but rather are a pharmacological effect of a series of bioactive neuropeptides that act synergistically with each other. Among these neuropeptides are some that act directly on the central nervous, lymphatic, and neuronal systems, and stimulate the pituitary and pineal glands. It is not hallucinogenic. Traditionally, it is used by tribes in the Amazon region, such as the Matses, Katukina, Yawanawa, and Mayoruna. The use of Kambô varies among tribes, but the main uses revolve around removing Panema (an indigenous name for dark or negative energy) and hunting (increasing speed and energy during the hunt and rendering the hunter invisible, temporarily eliminating human scent by heightening their senses of sight, hearing, and smell). Contraindications: • Pregnancy or breastfeeding • Serious heart conditions, such as pacemakers, heart valve disease, bypass surgery, surgical revascularization, and enlarged heart. • Taking immunosuppressive medications • Ehlers-Danlos syndrome • Addison's disease • Severe and/or recurrent epilepsy • Thrombosis or blood clots • Extremely low blood pressure controlled with medication • Taking medications with serious side effects • Stroke, aneurysm, or cerebral hemorrhage • Serious mental health conditions • Organ transplant surgery • Under 18 years of age • Treated with colonics, enemas, liver detoxes, or any other liquid-based detoxification 7 days prior to Kambo treatment. • Chemotherapy or radiation therapy 4 weeks before or after Kambo treatment • Recovering from a major surgical procedure • I have performed a Bufo ceremony within the past 6 weeks.
